Once there was a stable version of Perl on Win32, many people have begun to develop modules specific to the Win32 system. Today, there are many extensions of Perl that make it the number one scripting language on MS Windows systems as well.
A Perl programmer on Windows has full access to the Win32 API, so a Perl program can reach all parts of the Windows systems.
