It seems this was fixed by Yehuda adding an eval block around the template
reading mechnism. I am nost sure this should be the way, especially
because now the reading of the error.tmpl is without an eval block.

this is nasty but we should write tests for such cases.  Shlomi, here you
could contribute data for tests adding to t/lib/Test/Data.pm
